Frequency
Frequency is another way of saying channel. Just as CB Radio and TV are expressed as channels, tracking systems are expressed as frequency. All frequencies are established and governed by the FCC and international treaty. The receiver, antenna and transmitter must work in harmony on one frequency (channel). The exact frequency is printed on the silver ID tag of each transmitter. If the tag says "219.568," the transmitter's specific frequency (channel) is .568 in the 219 MHz range. Depending on the receiver used, you will dial in a channel or the last three numbers.
